Welcome everyone to yet another announcement of 2013!
This forum has been progressing quite nicely lately; however, here's an addition that's been requested for quite a while now and has finally sprout to fruition as of now! The GU Battle Tournament (GU BT) and GU BT Weapon Store!
Let's get down to discussing the new features!
GU Battle Tournament
Firstly, what is the GU Battle Tournament you may ask? Well, the GamerzUniverse Battle Tournament is a new section that consists of users creating and battling other users in a text based battle system. This includes users have their own health bars while relying on various methods of fighting their opponents.
Damage is done through random number generators as well as the additions of various weapons and armor that can assist in the damage given or taken to other users. These battles can be done for various dares or challenges proposed from one user to another. Those who win the tournament move on to higher levels and gain access to more items from the Weapon Store and even face off higher level opponents. And yes, all members can participate in these battles as well. More rules will be set up in the GU Battle Tournament shortly.
You may have noticed that some small competitions such as the Pokemon 5th Gen Battle and Solitaire Tournaments have taken place in this section as well. While they are not directly related to the purpose of this section, I will create a sub-section that relates to games that users can also play against each other here as well soon.
GU Weapon and Armor Store
This shop relates directly to the GU Battle Tournament section. This shop is found in the GStore section of the forum, but there will be a redirect link soon posted up in the GU Battle Tournament section once the shop has been filled with items.
The items you buy here are used in the tournament while participating in various battles with your fellow users! Find a whole assortment of weapons such as swords for increases in attack, shields/armor for an increase in defense, and perhaps even magical spells to cause various effects throughout the battle! More items become available to those of higher levels from the tournaments (levels are achieved by victories).
These weapons are purchased via GCoins, the forum currency (which is obtained through posting. For more information about GCoins and the GStore in general, CLICK HERE!
The store has opened; however, the items are yet to arrive. Perhaps a late shipping order?
Anyways, it'll be sure to update once we get the GU Battle Tournament started with user vs user battles!
