Let's disssscusss (note: only Fennekin related posts allowed here, haters beware! ).

I could have started this, but I chose not to .

So yeah... I hope it's part Psychic. I'm 99.9% it is. Who else thinks so?

^Psychic would be very cool and unique (do we even have a Fire/Psychic type?).

I just hope Fennekin doesn't become Fire/Fighting (as I've said many times before). This fox Pokemon has potential...let's just hope GameFreak realizes it. XD I'd accept Psychic type too.

So any inspirations as to what Fennekin could evolve into?

I remember that nine or seven tailed fox legend from Japan that could work well. Of course, Nintetails exists though to weaken this idea. Still, there's a chance we could see something similar; yet, different.

If it's a part psychic type, I can see some haunted/ghostly elements from it.

Yeah, it was nine-tailed. That wasn't good on my memory. XD

Also yeah it's possible that it won't be a Fennec when it evolves (don't do it GameFreak!). Watch it become a large fox or wolf. XD

Also I don't think Darmanitan zen mode got that well recognized (I may be wrong). It's pretty forgettable imo. XD

Lol! It's true that this Pokemon is getting a lot more attention than the other two starters, and by no doubt it will become overrated. XD

Oddly, I don't usually like overrated Pokemon (I go for the less appreciated ones). However, Fennekin seems to be a different case for some reason.

Me neither. Less loved ones ftw. ;~; But I agree with this statement. I'm sure it will become overrated.

From what I've seen, it's already hit the overrated boat. Fennekin is easily the most liked starter so far from various polls. Then again, fire starters usually do get a lot of love (except for last gen when Snivy took the spotlight). I guess people also love fennecs.

Watch it become a meme...lol. Froakie seems to be least popular...but then again, I don't like it either. XD Chespin seems ok though.

Also the more I look at the trailer, the attack Fennekin uses does seem to be rather psychic looking. Real cool. Though then again..it could be something else. Still, Fennekin is pretty cool (one overrated Pokemon that I can accept). XD

Victini is part psychic/fire. Also Fennekin is a pure fire type and maybe evolves to an psychic type!

I wouldn't be surprised if it does!

Still Fire/Psychic is not something that is seen too commonly. I mean we had three fire fighters in the last three gen, so getting a fire/psychic wouldn't be too bad (especially if you're starting with it).

Let's see what happens to the little fox Pokemon. Zorua changed a lot when it evolved, so who knows:

The battle thing looks interesting... you get to see them from the bottom.

So am I...and I bet quite a large amount of other people as well.

Fire/fighting has been overdone to death within the series, so it's the perfect opportunity to move on. Fire/Psychic sounds nice...even just regular Fire type would be fine with me.

Let's just hope Fennekin doesn't pull a Tepig...
