Mario Kart vs. Mario Party

Two popular spin-off game series from the popular Super Mario franchise. Both are among the longest running of the spin-off branches of the Mario series and are also very popular in their own respects.

So which of these two is your favourite? The fast-paced and quick thinking Mario Kart or is it the slow, yet patient mind game of Mario Party? Take your pick.

My choice? It would be Mario Kart. Don't get me wrong, I do like Mario Party; however, as its own name implies, this game seems to rely a lot on the multiplayer aspect (hence, perfect party game). Mario Kart is great in both aspects of single and multiplayer while Mario Party gets a bit repetitive on its own. Mario Kart isn't the greatest single player game either; however, I personally find the game much more enjoyable whenever a chance to play it is given.

Mario Kart all the way bro.. I dont like mario party and never will... maybe.. well i really never played it and it looks boring

Well,i like both but i would have to say that Mario Kart is better because it's way more fun and multiplayer is always fun to play.Mari party is also fun in it's own ways.

Mario kart all the way. I don't really like "party" games. A bunch of minigames aren't really that fun.

Mario Kart for sure, i had mario party for the ds was not that fun. Its fun with more people to play with but the single player stuff is garbage!

I enjoyed both Mario Kart and Mario Party, but I personally prefer the Platformer and RPG Mario games. However, if I were to choose between Mario Kart and Mario Party, it would be Mario Kart, because Mario Party is mostly luck-based and I prefer skill-based games.

I like both, the racing was always different and I loved the different characters(but I prefer Peach/ Daisy) but I also love beating my brother in Mario Party. (he was always buying the worst power ups and choosing the wrong way to go :p) So both.

I'm more like race person and I'm not like Mario Party person so yeah.

I like both in their own equal way. Say if I was playing with a friend or family or something IF i HAVE ANY , Mario Party. If I was playing by myself or someone from the global internet, Mario Kart. It's really about personal preferences.

I like both Mario Kart and Mario Party. They are both fun games to play with yourself or with friends.Though Mario Kart is more preferred because I pwn like crazy
