Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity

Let's discuss the newest and upcoming installment to the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series here. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Magnagate and the Infinite Labyrinth is an upcoming game for the Nintendo 3DS and it will continue the tradition of having the player play as a Pokemon and overcoming obstacles in order to become a human once again.

Aside from the WiiWare MD titles, this will truly be the first Mystery Dungeon game to be rendered in full 3D graphics. The game is stated to have an even darker story than in the previous games. Also this game makes use of the 3DS camera as you can capture images of round objects to become dungeons for your Pokemon to explore in.

March 24th, 2013 (North America)

Wow! It looks like a great game! Maybe once it comes out on 3ds in America, I'll get a copy of it!

I'm also quite interested in this game myself. I love the Mystery Dungeon games, so this game is definitely a game I'm looking out for. The 3D graphics might take some getting used to, but they still look very nice (it's like 2D/3D mix).

I just hope Pikachu + 3 Unova Starters + Axew aren't the only playable Pokemon. I liked the variety of playable characters in the previous games. :0

I really like this game a lot and I already know the pokemon I want to try to play as.
The 3D graphics also interest me.

From what it looks like in the trailer, I am without a doubt gonna get it. I think I saw a Quagsire, too.

Yes, indeed there is a Quagsire. I love how Mystery Dungeon brings out the lesser popular Pokemon to the front lines. Quagsire seems pretty important from what I've seen, but I dunno. Let's hope so. XD

Well, maybe you can get a 3DS AF. But it isn't coming to North America anytime soon..just Japan...tomorrow.

Also here is some updates guys:
*The only playable Pokemon (starting characters) are: Pikachu, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Axew (AF is going to squeal for the last one)
*Hunger (losing health when hungry) and apples are removed.
*Story is supposed to be darker than the previous games.

Double post, but ah well! Anime specials (English subbed) for the new Mystery Dungeon game. Gives a brief insight into the plot of this game.

The game has now been released in Japan. However, the dates for its release in other regions is still unknown at the time.

I heard that this game isn't being that well received. Apparently, only 5 starter Pokemon and less than 200 Pokemon in the wild. Looks like Nintendo got lazy on another 3DS title. Perhaps in order to release it in the holiday season?

Aww, I wanna know when it comes out here in the U.S. But I can't for it nonetheless!

The release date of the game for the US is apparently set for March 24, 2013.

Not bad, but a wait till next year it is.

Looks like a cool game... two bad there's only five. Waah.

This game looks fairly fun. But I can't say I'll get it, though. I'm quite surprised the GameFreak decided to make This game and Pkmn X and Y.

^I believe the Mystery Dungeon games are made by a different company (with GF's license on the series) known as Chunsoft. I'm pretty sure that's why GameFreak themselves have worked on Pokemon X and Y instead. I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's why the two games are being released so close to each other.

This game is nearing its American release very soon, so may as well put an update here.

Also for those of you unsure about this game or are anticipating it, be sure to check the 3DS eShop! There's a free demo of this game running for downloads for the month of March. Get it soon before it ends, and have fun guys!

I've finished the demo. It's a really fun game. I think it'll be worth it.
