MapleStory

I'm surprised that my fellow admin Gangnam Style did not make a topic for this game sooner (he's an addict ). Anyways, what are your thoughts of the online game MapleStory? It had quite a bit of popularity in the past few years, so any afterthoughts?

I played MS quite a few times some time back, and I must say that I did enjoy it. Sure, some things were difficult (such as stat distribution); however, it was fun overall and a great way to play with online friends.

I was addicted until I got banned on private server and the real server. Lol. Using fly hacks ban fast... Yea but maple story can get additing at first but then it gets kinda boring.

The pets feature was pretty cool too. And the character customization as well. I wonder how many classes they have now in the game as well? :0

Lol they added so I have to clue now. But pets were on private servers, on the real thing u pay money -.-

^I remember that the pets actually costed money on the real servers. Nexon really did want to make cash from this game. Private servers FTW!

Guess you're not that hardcore of a fan of the series nowadays, are you GS? :0

Loll, Nah not really playing maplestory nowadays ....

I tried Maple Story out a long time ago, but it never worked for me.... it just let me play a demo. The actual game just wouldn't work for some reason... and since I am not much of an MMORPG player, I didn't do much to try and fix it.

^I think the same happened to me as well. I downloaded the game; however, it only worked temporarily for me for some reason. Add that to the fact that the game was lagging my computer, so I just kinda left MS on its own.

Though I did play occasionally on AnimeFreak's computer whenever I'm at his place. However, I guess it's true that my interest in MS has decreased over the years. Plus, it's not exactly new anymore, now is it?

I also had the MS app for the ipod touch; however, it really wasn't that interesting anymore to me as well.

Is the level up process still as difficult as it was before? Wasn't exp hard to get too on the real server?

Lvl up is much easier...they increase it in a private server

^Guess that's why you always resorted to private servers, eh? Though some things like actually paying for goods in MS (as in real server) does sound ridiculous considering that you get those stuff for free in private servers.

So AF, I guess you can't resist hacking in MS? I mean don't you want to keep at least one file for a while.

I had a feeling it was a matter of time before they discovered your hacking in Combat Arms. Did you make a lot of progress in it? Also better be careful with MS now lol.

Also do you have a pet in ms? XD

Not that much process in combat arms. And yes I had a little cat as a pet.

I don't like these kinds of games... there are just too many people playing. DX
