    Airsoft? Empty Airsoft?

Erm... I guess this would be classified as "Sport and Fitness", but I really don't know.

Anywhatsywhos, I have decided that I'm tired of being fat, so I'm going to start exercising, but, pffft, I don't wanna play basketball, or a "sport". So, it was this or paintball, and paintball hurts like a CHAMPION.

I made this primarily for anyone that wants to play airsoft, like me, and is new to it. If you find any good sites, or have any good tips, just pass 'em around like a pot of pork roast. And, if you do play airsoft, give the nubs some tips. Now.

Well you can play like your in an actual war and be all tactical, or you can just go HAM on every one, which is way more fun...but you'll get shot up a lot.

Also a good gun is necessary. A good one cost around $100-$120, which is a lot of money to spend on a toy gun. Don't spend anymore than $120 unless your rich, or less than $80 unless you make your own. Buy a Battery powered one, not a spring. Make sure it is an assault one too, you can use a shot gun or pistol, but I prefer assault style. When I use to play I had $110 full/semi auto rife with a cheap $20 pistol as a back up. ($20 actually aren't bad for pistols). But yeah, go full/semi auto unless you have a smaller budget, because shotgun style and pistol style don't usually cost as much.

You can also make your own. I've quit airsoft, but I still wanna make one of these once I get around to it:
    http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Make-a-Full-Auto-Airsoft-Minigun-Halo-Insp/
Once I get enough money to, I'll make one for the heck of it. That thing would be pretty legit.

Dressing is another thing. If your playing tactical camo is the way to go. Some people really like playing make believe and dress up like military does today. Which I think is dumb and a waste of money, but if its your thing cool. "Dude where playing for like 3 hrs, you don't need MREs, Paracord, a Canteen, and a Bug-out-bad!"

If your like me you just wanna go ham on everyone, but if you wanna do that you have to look cool. The main problem with looking cool while playing airsoft is that you get shot up a lot....That hurts. But it teaches agility, haha! Wink. but, yeah if you are just playing a quick game, or just want every else to feel like there trick or treating tonight just wear camo short/pants with a black/gray/brown t-shirt and sunglasses. Sunglasses are good because not only do you look cool, but you don't get shot in the eye.

Good luck man! Airsoft can be lots of fun but very expensive (sometimes). Just make sure you have people to play with first before you drop a lot of cash into it. It can also get painful (like getting shot in the teeth.)

    Good Luck, Have fun!

Oh, uh thanks. Hey, would a $20 or so AR be a good entry level gun? It's battery powered, and I have a spring powered pistol as backup.

Airsoft pistols are fun to shoot. I really enjoyed shooting one. Very Happy I'd love to go paintballing someday.
