Aminty POV

I sat on the ledge of a building's roof, the thing they told us still ringing in my ears. The sky looked beuatiful today and I felt odd because I haven't seen it like this at all in my life. Then I fell a hand on my shoulder and I smile as I see Dustin smiling at me. Getting uo I look in the face that was full of glee. Giving him a hug I ask "Why so happy?" He just smiles and said "The rebellion looks like a great thing." I just smiled and kissed him softly and just whispeard "Sure you would." He just grins at my words and puts his arm around me.


F.E.A.R? What the hell does that even stand for? I know fear but really? Why is it F.E.A.R. nor just strait forward Fear? stood there with a expression of distaste as they where rounded up with the people for the speech. But today it was different, today it just didn't happen. Dustin told me that they cancelled it. I could not explain it, neither could Dustin. We just sat on the couch and ate our food. If they would be in a better situation this would be cute but now it just seems sad. I kiss him as we look out of the window. I kick the ground and say "This life is frustrating. What ever happened to that we can become what ever we want? We live in this piece of crap.....and have no jobs...." He kissed me again and said "We have each other."

I'm liking it so far. Interesting...

Hm, this seems much different from most of the stories I read. However, it's pretty interesting so far, so good job. I'll have to see how this story progresses, but well done for now.

Aminty's POV

Still a boring day but this is just weird. They usually don't have these kind of days. Even if it is a holiday (which we don't have a lot of), at least some people would go and trade with others. Today was not the case, the streets where dead. I felt odd just sitting there and seeing no person on the street. I just sigh and wait for Dustin to come back. He was really late for a usuall food run, Come one Dustin, you are getting late!!!

The door opens and Dustin walks into the room. I run at him and wrap my arms around his skinny body. Kissng me he said with a soft voice "Sorry for keeping you....." I kiss him and add "It's okay, as long you came back I'm fine." He smiles and sits down on the couch. I give him a questioning look and ask "What keeped you, sweety?" He shrugged and started to explain.


Dustin's POV

Another day in fear of dying, another day of fear of loosing her. As I walked down the streets that used to be crowded around this time. But today was different, today was just the weirdest day in this wrecked place they call a country. Walking down the street I kick a rock to the other end of the street. I walk and walk along the streets that are just gray. I look through theb trash of the rich people for something I could turn into food for me and Aminty. I finally find a sack of Apples. They looked fine to me. Maybe those people like their apples to be prefect. I forge for some more food and get enough to hold us pver for 3 days. I was about to head home when I hear a bang.


I run towards the noise to see a horriable site. A girl with a gun to her head and a black shadow standing over her. She was crying over a dead body who looks like to be her brother. One of men with a gun pointed the gun at me and said "Do you defy F.E.A.R.?" I open my eyes wide and shake my head. The man lowers his gun and said with a voice full of joy "Well at least you are loyal." The man holding the gun to the girls head smiled and said to me "Move along, sir...." I nod and start to walk when I hear a bang. I didn't care if they would shot me but I look around the corner to see the man that complimented me dead.

The men see me looking and say "Hey, now tell us? Are you a supporter of F.E.A.R ?" shake my head and say "No, no, I'm not. Why would I? The hell they put the poor through..." The man with the gun nods and said "Well that's nice. You look nervous, what's your name?" I quickly say my name and they introduce one another. One of them was named Gabriel. He seemed nice and gave me some meat I could use. When I rush home from what I just saw. This was a odd day indeed, it is the first time for me to see a F.E.A.R. supporter get killed.

Aminty POV

After Dustin told me his story I felt rather odd to know that the rebellion was not something they made up. Like usual when Dustin goes to look for some water, I fold all the cloths we have(Which where all handed down or stolen). I sigh as I hear a knock on our door. That can't be Dustin can it? That knock sounds familiar though... Walking to the door and open it slowly. I instantly get tackled by someone. I at first scream fearing the worst but then I see deep green eyes in front of me.

I laugh and say "Maple don't scare me like that, okay?" I just hear a giggle as both of us get up. I give her a smile and ask "What brings you here?" Maple gives me a big smile, a very typical thing for her to do. Maple then just whipped her long brown hair around and just giggles again. I don't really know about her, she is a sweet girl yes but. "Where is Dustin, Muffin?" I tilt my head and ask her "Muffin?" She giggles again and hugs me. I sometimes worry about her but she is a good friend. Then I just ask
if she wants to stay the night. She jumps up in joy and thanks me with a kiss. She is pretty wealthy but finds joy in the little things. "Wonder what Dustin will say to you staying again?" She replies "Oh don't worry he likes me." I sigh and just ruffle my hair.

(Short Dustin POV)

Shooting, that's the first thing I hear when I go to the center square of the town. I duke behind a wall and look past it's ledge. F.E.A.R. officers where shooting at a group of men. I look closely to see them holding flags and AK-47s. What the hell? Then a man slides next to me and hands me a gun. I look at him and he just said "Shot at the officers!" I raise the gun but could not keep it steady."Shoot!" I try to aim but just shoot blindly at the officers. I hear the gun fire and a out cry of pain. I had killed the lead officer.


Aminty POV

I was laying in bed with my arm around Dustin. When he came home he held a gun in his hand and had a skull on his face. He didn't tell me anything except that he killed a man. At first I was shocked but after it settled in I was worried about him. He seemed rather shocked from what he did. Maple and I tried to comfort him but the only word I could get out of him was sorry.

Eventually he just told us what happened. How a man named Evo gave him a gun and told him to shoot. Now both of us lay in the bed, him telling me his poetry and me just nodding or agreeing. He then turns around and pulls me close to him. I then just wrap my arms around him and kiss him. I fell the warmth of his lips on mine. I close my eyes and sigh as he continued to kiss me. Even if we are in a bad situation, I feel that having him on my side makes life much more enjoyable. In our hearts both of us know that we cannot live without the other. I kiss him one last time before falling into a deep sleep.

Dustin's POV

I was running along a street with a couple of other men as the battle started. I take cover behind a wall. I look around to see Evo next to me. He smiles and looks around the corner. He points at himself and then at my gun. I nod and shoot a few rounds at the F.E.A.R. soldiers. While I'm doing that Evo runs to the anti-air gun they set up. I'm still shooting when he slides next to me with a big grin on his face. "Let it fly, Evo" He presses a finger on a watch he had on and "BOOM" The gun exploded but something went wrong, terribly wrong. The cannon of the gun flew high in the sky and then came down on us. I try to move out of the way but my leg gets crushed under the thing. I look for Evo and quickly look away after I see what happened to him. The Cannon crushes him and a few of the metal parts where jammed in him. I try to move but I simply could not. I wait and wait as slowly the rebels marcht forward. A man sees me and calls for help.

In the camp I get the news that the city has been taken by the rebels. I was glad but they also tell me that Evo had died from his wounds. I sigh as I see Aminty outside the tent. "Sir, a girl named Aminty Saffron wants to see you. May I let her in?" I nod and the man steps away. Aminty rushes in the tent and throws herself on me. I raise my hand and pat her on the back. "I-i heard what happened, Dustin.....I-I." She stammers and I just smile. She then opens her mouth and said "I want you not to fight in the rebellion any more."

Aminty POV
He laughs as I said that but I just say "I'm not joking....I don't want you to get hurt again. I don't want to lose you..." I hug him as he tries to protest. "Fine...I won't be a part of the rebellion." I kiss him and help him to get out of bed. We then walk together to our house not even carring that Dustin may have lied to me. "I love you Dustin..."

Aw, the character representing me died.

Regardless, you two made some interesting chapters as of late. I don't usually read fics similar to this theme, but it's intriguing.

Btw Ami, Maple loved how you included her. She didn't post yet, but just thought that you might like to know that.

So guys Ami wants your help figuring out the ending. We have these options....
