Re: Sixth Gen!
^Perhaps it could be. Still unknown though (must be a good type if they're hiding it so well).
Apparently, "Ninfia" will be named as Sylveon in English speaking countries. Guess this continues the "-eon" trend. XD
Its typing is still unknown, but in the trailer we did see moves that look like swift and trump card. Maybe a normal type? Fighting type? Who knows for now.
Also those battle visuals look amazing in that video. XD

I agree. The pinkness reminds me a lot like Chansey, Blissey, Jigglypuff, Clefairy, and Audino. There are a lot of "pink" normal types.
I wonder if this Eeveelution will have separate male/female models? Males are 75% for Eevees, but this Sylveon looks female which strikes me to think maybe a male Sylveon looks different.

I think you're right, Sylveon might either be pure femake or have a 75% to 25%.

Re: Sixth Gen!
I hope I don't come off as annoying, but Eevees actually have a gender ratio of 87.5% male:12.5% female.
You do bring up a good point Lanturnitis as Sylveon does appear more feminine looking than the other Eeveelutions (to some extent). It's not impossible that it could have a different looking male counterpart; however, we do have other Pokemon such as Clefable, Delcatty, Lopunny that don't really have male counterparts despite appearing more feminine in appearance.
I'm not too sure...however, we'll have to see. Pretty much all the information about Sylveon is so mysterious at this point of time. Normal type seems like a possibility considering that many of the moves it used in the trailer were normal type attacks...though we'll have to see.

Re: Sixth Gen!
Well, Daniel (SilverPanda) thinks maybe it could be a flying type because of its name... sylphs, which are mythological creatures of the air. Here's an image of a sylph. It's also a hummingbird.

Ah, well that isn't a bad assumption. The English names of the previous Eeveelutions do refer to the characteristics of the typing each Eeveelution belong to. Didn't know of the sylphs so that is really interesting.
Flying type does seem possible now as well. Hm, this just makes the Pokemon even more confusing as a whole. Guess this was what GameFreak was aiming for.

True, you're right. I was too lazy to find the actual percentages. What I meant though was not separate forms for male and female, but rather just different characteristics. Like the males could have a bow tie instead of a bow in the hair, and maybe be a different color. The others you mention look more feminine, but none go to drastic measures such as a bow in one's hair.

I also heard "sylv" refers to fairies, which are mostly normal types in the games. Obviously, the name must play a factor as it has with every Eeveelution. Sylveon, however, used a lot of normal type moves and looks like a stereotypical normal type. I'm assuming it's normal.

A lot of flying types can learn it too, not just normal types. A lot of electric and all of the fire starters can learn it too.

Re: Sixth Gen!
I just think it's a normal type. Doesn't have anything that resembles flying to me. Let's take a look at the other Eeveelutions:
1. Flareon: has fire tufts around him, orange red for fire
2. Vaporeon: has flippers, is blue for water
3. Jolteon: has jagged edges that represent electricity and jolt, is yellow
5. Umbreon: is dark just like it's type
6. Espeon: is purple, just like psychic type
7. Glaceon: blue, ice shards (though I admit less resembling than the others)
8. Leafeon: green/yellow represents chlorophyll, leaf as a tail
Then there's Sylveon. There's nothing that really resembles flying from it. Maybe the fact that it is white is close to flying, but white also represents normal typing. There is no added element that represents flight, as in the other Eeveelutions. However, many other normal types are whitish/pink in color. The pokemon also doesn't have any clouds or wings, only ribbons and bows, which is more representable of a basic normal type. I can't see how it is a flying type; it doesn't have anything symbolical of flight. It is rather plain like the normal type. And its resemblance to Delcatty, Persian, and other normal types is obvious enough for me to claim it as a normal type.
Another thing that makes me think it's a normal type are the ribbons and bows. A lot of times on stuffed animals you'll see ribbons and bows, and stuffed animals are bears, cats, dogs, etc. A lot of these are already normal types, so I believe Sylveon with its bows that make it seem more like a plush toy, is a normal type. I don't see the bows having wings and taking flight.

Re: Sixth Gen!
*Bump*
Well here you guys, a new Pokemon/form has been revealed recently. Thought we may as well have it mentioned here now XD.
Yes, this is apparently Mewtwo's new form! Its attributes, stats, and purpose are still not known - however, it will be appearing in the new Mewtwo vs Genesect movie. Regardless, a new form and it does look pretty cool.
What do you guys think?

I think that it is a unique idea for mewtwo.I knew that they would have done either a new mewtwo form or mewthree.

Actually, the more I look at them, the more I'm impressed. Maybe it's just me, but these designs look much more original than the designs of the Gen 5 Pokemon.

It does have Flame Charge so it might hint for a fire type evolution. That's something new for sure.

It does, doesn't it? XD
It's going to be a lot of fun riding that thing around. I wonder if there's other Pokemon we can ride on land too ingame.
P.S. Here's a list of the new Pokemon with their English names.
