Apparently this week, about $2.1 million worth of Wii U's were stolen from an airport (for shipping) by thieves who apparently used trucks to both steal the Wii U consoles and make their getaway. Additionally, the thieves have yet to be found.
It's strange that a major theft like this would happen so close to Christmas, and both the shipping company and Nintendo are definitely going to lose profit as a result of this event until the thieves are found. I presume that the Wii U consoles have some sort of tracking devices within it; however, they have still yet to be found. Some clever thieves, hm?
