Member Rank Administration (a thread dedicated to the ranks available at GU)

Well, I'm pretty sure that most of you are probably very curious to know how many ranks we have here at GamerzUniverse and how many posts can be used for a member to achieve them. I'm assuming that even some of the staff members in the forum, aren't aware of the amount of ranks available here, so here you go :

Notice that some of the ranks have odd transitions in post numbers? Well, we're still working on that at the moment. ^_^'

There should have been a Golden Sun rank. XD Lol. I miss the Link rank. ;_; It went by too fast. I guess my next aim is Zelda's rank.

All of them are cool, well made and suit the mood of the site. I just wish some ranks didn't end so quickly. XD

^I guess the reason as to why I set the post range so low for the ranks was because I had the feeling that there wouldn't be too many users posting a lot, so I guess the quick rank changes were to motivate them.

Seeing as there is more active users now, I think I'll be willing to change the post count ranges soon. Perhaps you might see the Link rank with you again very soon if changes do occur.

Yeah, the change was a bit too quick. I felt like every post I made I was at a new rank. The Luigi one is one of my favorites.

I'm also sad there's only one Pokemon rank and the others are all Mario-based (minus Yoshi and DK) D: Still, It's good to know what we can look forward to when posting and all. ;D

^I think I did overdue the Mario ones (just like how Nintendo has been pumping so many Mario games of late :0). Don't worry, I'll fix that...it's a Nintendo forum, not a Mario forum after all. Nice to hear that you liked the Luigi one though (seemed like you were disappointed right after losing the Link one :0).

Well there's actually two Pokemon ranks (the Pikachu and Trainer ones), but I understand that more is better (considering how popular the series is). I'll just need ideas as to what Pokemon characters to represent with it.

Nintendo keeps making more Mario games because Miyamoto is busy brainstorming.
Yes, I was very disappointed when losing the Link rank. XD

I love Luigi; he and I have things in common. We're both the youngest of two (not really twins, but we're 3 1/2 years apart, my older sister and I) I like shades of green, I don't really get much spotlight at home. You know, it just so happens we have those in common... xD

Hmm, suggestions you can consider if you like, try using popular Pokemon other than Pikachu. If in doubt, use the Pokemon that appeared in Melee and Brawl. XD Mewtwo's pretty decent, Zoroark and Lucario are overused and over abused, but they appeared in movies.

Mew! Come on, that little guy is adorable. Pretty sure if you used some that appeared as Pokeballs in the Smash series, it won't be too hard to choose from. Just mix and match them up.

Update: More ranks have been made available with more coming soon. Though some could get replaced (depending on the post count range :/).

Also I think some of you will be pleased with some of the changes. Enjoy!

I would suggest to change the Noob rank to just Goomba rank. Because the new users might feel bad about being called a Noob. Just a suggestion. While I am not exactly offended by the Noob rank, it might offend others.

^Alrighty, I'll make the change. "Noob" was part of a joke we made up when this forum was starting up, and I understand that the term might be offensive to some. Don't worry, Goomba Rank it is!

How about a rank that celebrates the announcement of the 6th generation of pokemon games?

I'll try looking for a sixth gen related stamp; however, considering the lack of information we have about those two games as of now, it might take some time as not many stamps are available out of the games yet.

Ok maybe to start 1 stamp with the legendary pokemon on it and 1 stamp with the starter pokemon

^I'm getting to it. I was able to find stamps of the legendaries; however, the starters may have to wait for now.

Additionally, a Sonic and Tails rank stamp has been added. This thread and its original post will see an update today.

A few new ranks have been added and the positions for some of the ranks have been altered! Some more will be coming later today!

756-1000 has no rank

^The missing gap of ranks relate to the ranks that I will be adding later today (as I mentioned in my earlier post). XD They'll be coming soon.

Wait a minute, the Pikmin Guardian is somewhat after 1000!
