Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon

Luigi is back again in the spotlight with the sequel to his first game in the upcoming 3DS game Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. Looks like he'll be sucking ghosts and foiling their plans once again.

I never played the original Luigi's Mansion; however, it was pretty much Luigi's big standing point as a character instead of being Mario's "shadow". Perhaps this game will boost the green plumber to a higher standing...who knows?

Release Date: TBA 2012/2013 (Worldwide) - Guess no Halloween release this time.

I never played Luigi's Mansion before, but I've seen a lot of LPs of it. I would love to get that game when it releases!

^I never played Luigi's Mansion (the original) myself; however, it certainly looks much different from most Mario games. I personally might consider this game; however, with all the 3DS games coming out...it seems so difficult to choose one and I'm not sure if the "ghost busting" ways of LM2 will get me attracted to it.

I actually played and beat the original game. The original Luigi's Mansion actually is easily one of my favorite games I have ever played. It's just kind of fun to play as a character that isn't really the hero type. He gets so scared during the game it's actually quite comical.

So I will for sure be getting this game, if it ever releases. I swear I've been hearing that this game is TBA ever since the 3DS came out. Let's hope it drops relatively soon!

^Ah that's cool to know Dolphin. I guess it's true that playing as the not so typical hero would be a twist in such a haunted game. I remember seeing this game a lot as a kid, but I think chose Sunshine over it (don't know why though ).

Also true about the release date. I looked through this game and it seems to have been announced for such a long time now. What is Nintendo doing? Let's hope they release this game really soon.

This game never really apealed to me. Although I like luigi and love that he is getting another game. I might get it if/when I see a used copy.

LOL, but anyways, I can't wait for it to come out. I played the 1st Luigi's Mansion and it was fun.

News update:

- This game will be featuring online multiplayer. You can face off against your friends and rivals in this mode in capturing ghosts and reaching achievements.

I find this quite interesting as I wasn't expecting a multiplayer system on its own to work out in a Luigi's Mansion game; however, online multiplayer? That's something new (why didn't NSMB U have this?!).

Anyways, who are the extra playable characters that you could pick in the multiplayer mode of this game? Nope, it's not Mario, and it's not Toad either .

Instead, you get to choose from three alternate coloured Luigis. Yep, Luigi is a species now and it's just like Smash Bros.! Ah well, it is his own game after all, so let the Luigis shine. XD

Great designs so far and I really like it that they brought multiplayer and so I will get it ( in april ) and I will enjoy it
