Well I"m not really an Eco guy nor do I worry too much about the environment, but I was just curious to see what any of you do to "go green".

I don't buy global warming for a second, and an not in the least bit concerned as far as that goes. Also I'm not too worried about "using up" lots of natural resources such as oil. But,The earth is a beayutiful place and should be keep clean, so I try to recycle whatever can be recycled. I also keep the food chain in order by hunting Laughing.

What do you to "help out" and how concerned are you?

    Lol Will (food chains). XD

Hm, I'm not an extreme activist when it comes to preserving nature; however, I am concerned about the future of our planet with our constantly growing population, addition of pollution, as well as the destruction and removal of various natural lands due to the construction of human cities and towns.

Many animal and plant species are suffering, and I'm not really pleased by this at all. However, I haven't really did anything too extreme yet for nature. I do try to recycle whatever is recyclable, much like you Will, and sometimes I might pick litter off the ground as well from parks and other areas. I'm really fond of animals and it really upsets me about how many of them are dying out due to human causes. Also the Earth is a wonderful place, so it's a shame of how much damage we did to it so far.

I've done some projects in regards to these issues at school (presentations and the planting of trees when I was really little), but other than that I really haven't done that much in the protection of nature to be honest. Maybe I might do more in the future...

I do most of my travelling by bicycle, but this isn't because of eco-friendly reasons. To be honest, I just cycle so much because it's cheap and fast transportation and the infrastructure where I live makes it safe and easy.

Well, that doesn't mean I'm not concerned about the environment. I don't think mankind is the only or the main reason for global warming, but I think we do contribute to an existing problem and we should try to restore the damage we've done a bit. My family recycles most of our waste and we try to use as little water and electricity as possible. I'm afraid that's pretty much all we do, because we honestly can't do much more than that.

YES! I LOVE YOU. I don't believe in that crap either! Anyone else wanna hop about aboard my boat? Besides, why is New England getting record low temps?

Anyway, I voted kinda concerned. I'd love to be able to recycle and such. I don't know how to ride a bike nor do I want to (too scary as it is).

But I am worried about some animals and plants. Just look at all of the species on IUCN's red list, more like they're Vulnerable (VU), Endangered (EN), Critically Endangered (CR), Extinct in the Wild (EW), or Extinct (EX). Many are Data Deficient (DD) or Near Threatened (NT). I've been lucky enough to meet two EW animals: Guam Rail, Père David's Deer. How many more will I have to meet in zoos because they're EW? I dunno.

    Sorry for the ramblings.

Haha thanks for agreeing osprey. I also hate to see endangered animals. And I hate anyone who poaches (illegal hunting/traping). As a hunter I only go out during season, and never hunt anything out side of season.

TBH, it would be hypocritical of me to be anything more than 'kinda concerned'. Still, I think it's an important issue.

I'm not an activist, but the environment depends on how we treat it. I'll do all the things I can possibly do to help.

Also, all that global warming stuff does have me thinking, but I know it's true. How can WE cause glaciers to MELT?

I don't get mad about people driving cars or littering, but stuff like the Oil Spill concerns me.

Hello Glaciers. You seem to melt recently these years.

Yes, I 'kinda concerned' the environment stats today. It gets pretty f-up if we don't care about our environment. Sea waters raise, temperature is rising up (i love the damn cold weather, at that rate it will have less cold weather D:).

Still too early to determine that we're gonna actually helping the environment. But forest fires (or any other natural disaster), cutting down trees, killings animals, etc. is something we have an issue today.
