Favourite Power Up?

^Oh, maybe there was (though I only remember Tanooki, Hammer and Frog suits from that game). Then again, I never did play SMB3 that much before. :<

I forgot to mention this before, but I also love the Propeller Suit. So useful and fun to use in NSMB Wii! Also I remember the Ghost suit in SMG! I remember the level where you had to save Luigi with the suit (and he got freaked out by it). XD

I double checked SMB3 about the "bear suit". It's actually the Tanuki one. It just looks like a bear on the map screen. XD So much fail on my part. I always thought it was a bear when I was little.

...Never had a chance to play the NSMB for the Wii. ;_; One of my older sister's friends brought it over one time and I didn't know it. No fair. (One day, I shall play it)

And yes the Ghost suit was great. XD I remember saving Luigi with it. He was like "Waaaah!" So cute. Unfortunately, that's as far as I went in SMG.

Oh, and the golden Tanuki suit in NSMB2 is pretty cool. You can kill basically anything in that. <3

Also I recommend playing NSMB Wii. It's very enjoyable and tbh, I think it's the best out of the NSMB games (most people say that the series is bland, but I think NSMB Wii is the best addition yet). It has a lot of replay value (especially with friends), and the fact that Toad is playable just makes this game an even bigger winner to me.

Haha, I think that there's something similar to the golden suit in SM3DL where there's a White Tanuki suit that can destroy anything in its path. Very fun, but I think people call it the "noob" suit lol. XD I still use it very often.

Ey, when I can afford a new game (I'm replacing Path of Radiance soon since I can spare a few dollars) then I'll go get it. I have to save up for books for college. >.> I'm aware Toad is playable. It's like SMB2 all over again! XD

I think there's a similar suit in SM3DL too. I never played it because I lack a 3DS and my little sister is a bit restricted on her 3DS... so yeah. D: It's not a noob suit; it's the PWN-EVERYTHING suit. xD

^Well NSMB Wii while is a good game, I wouldn't say it's a must get in that case. It might be best to get it when you have money to spare instead of an immediate rush. Indeed about the SMB2 part though I wish they remade that game instead.

Yeah, we have SM3DL and it's an invincible White Tanuki suit that shows up if you kept losing in the same level more than 5 or so times. And true about your last point.

Are you planning to get the Wii U Hylia? There's also NSMB U coming out as well very soon (which is pretty much a NSMB Wii update in appearance - though gameplay I don't know?).

Hm, I'll have to consider the game. And, my little sister is getting White 2 when it comes out in two more days, so she won't be getting SM3DL anytime soon. We're on a budget.

And no, I don't think I'll be able to get a Wii U until two years from now. Same with a 3DS. I'll be behind again, as usual. I don't get new stuff immediately because, as I've said, we're on a budget. I can get them when I can. So, it'll just be DSi + Wii for me for now. I'm only getting the Wii U for possibly new Zelda, Pokemon and Mario games. That's it, if I ever get it. XD Same with 3DS.

Of course, I'm not getting OoT3D. Tired of seeing that game, even though it's awesome. XD I have the original.

Anyway, on topic, white Tanuki suit, huh? Okay, so that's on NSMB2 too, well, it's just a leaf. That's what I meant the first time; it was a white Tanuki suit that you can kill anything instantly by running into it. There is like an all golden suit for Mario on there, too. I don't know what it's called.

Oh, and the box on Mario's head, if that can be called a "suit", is fun. XD

Ah, but SM3DL is a decent game. Makes use of the 3D effects of the 3DS, so it's the closest to a 3D Mario platformer for the handheld by far.

Also I'm in the same situation as you for the Wii U. I probably won't get one anytime soon (perhaps I might not even get one); however, we'll see. Also that's fine as a ton of us still have DS and Wii games, so we're all good for now.

Oh and I didn't hear of the box head Mario. Interesting. Yeah, I think the invincible Tanuki is the same thing in both games.

I don't know if I'll use the 3D function. My eyes are terrible and I don't want to further destroy them. XD 3D stuff is okay, but it hurts my eyes after awhile.

Agreed. I don't understand how the Wii-U will work. I've looked at it (pictures) but it's weird. I hope the old Wii's functions will still work with it, or something to that extent.

I honestly like the Fire Flower, Penguin, Star Power, and Hellicopter power -up.

I always like the statue leaf, it was awesome. Tanooki and statue. In one.
