My Pokemon Ranch

My Pokemon Ranch is a Wiiware title, a game that allows you to store your Pokemon from Diamond and Pearl, and in a Japanese-only update, Platinum games. It's like Ruby and Sapphire Box (something I never knew existed until last year).

Anyone else have this game? It's 1000 Wii Points/$10 in debit or credit card.

Is this game fun?

Yes. <3 My Furret is adorable, isn't he? Yes, it's a he. XD

The game is a little fun, but it's more of a storing-your-Pokemon game, so you can have more space to catch new ones in your PC in-game. Also, if you meet some requirements, Hayley (the girl in the game who serves to watch the ranch with your wii) will trade you a Mew for storing, I believe, 1000 Pokemon. So, I think that's worth something.

It's fun watching your Pokemon beat up each other, dance around random camp fires, sing people to sleep (as seen in one of my pictures) or just having races. Lol I can watch them for a good thirty minutes doing that. :D

^I remember seeing this game on the WiiWare shop; however, the small scaled models of the Pokemon put me off initially. I mean the legendaries looked to be the same size as the smaller Pokemon like Pikachu.

However, thinking back I guess this was a neat little feature. I don't know if it would be worth it for me (considering that I rarely transport my Pokemon out of the games DX); however, the interactions between the Pokemon sounds neat.

....If only the models looked more realistic, it would have been fantastic as a game imo. I guess I like my games to look more up to date. (though Pokemon Rumble seems to be alright with me strangely).

Well, the Pokemon look like "toys" because of the Wiiware's functions unable to handle graphics like Wii games and all, from where I read this .

^Ah that makes sense. I guess it is appropriate for that situation.

I still wish Nintendo would make another Pokemon Colosseum/XD game for the Wii or Wii U. Perhaps even implementing the Pokemon Ranch feature would make the game even more interesting to see.

So do you still play My Pokemon Ranch often Hylia, or has it become less played these days?
